Please allow me to introduce myself; my name is Steve Mangham, someone who is passionate about watches and the world of watchmaking. I am here to assist you in all matters of watch repair, whether it’s a valuable family heirloom, or your trusty daily timekeeper, I’m here to help! Feel free to contact me by email or phone, my details can be found in the contact page.
I cater for the repair of all brands and type of watch, from vintage to modern and all points in between. I have established my workshop in Lymington, in the beautiful New Forest area of Hampshire, but I am able to offer a postal repair service to customers both nationally and internationally.
I also offer a trade repair service for jewellers etc; please contact me for more information.
So How Does Your Service Work?
It is really quite simple, first of all, please contact me to discuss the problem with your watch, and then send your watch to my workshop, using Royal Mail Special Delivery. I will then assess your watch and contact you as soon as possible with a basic estimate, detailing the remedial work required. The basic assessment is free of charge.
If however you would like a fixed price quotation which will give you an exact picture of the final repair cost including parts etc, this can be provided for a small non-refundable fee, which should you wish to proceed with the repair, will be deducted from your final bill. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.
Please note, it is impossible for me to give an estimate of the repair cost without first seeing the watch, I will however endeavour to give you a “ball park” figure during our initial contact.
Owing to the wide variety and complexity of watches, I do not have a standard price list, so please feel free to contact me for an idea of potential costs.
Once the work has been completed, an invoice will be sent to you, when payment has been received the watch will be packaged and returned to you, again using Royal Mail Special Delivery. |
